formal campaigning gets underway for 2008
Our campaign will get off to a much earlier and stronger start this time-- with at least sporadic activity and quite a bit of planning in the Winter and Spring.
The more formal aspects of my campaign got under way on Wednesday-- with a 30-minute TV show with Paul Knies on Jasper's channel 27 (it should be on the air a week from Monday, I think) and a lunch speech to about 18 people with the Ferdinand (and Jasper) Kiwanis.
Indirectly, a lot of stuff relates to "the campaign", but it was good to be in the saddle again-- directly speaking to policy issues and the 9th District race. I look forward to a vigorous race. May the best man win!
